The Viscounty of Nume Eor is a province of Keoland.
History
Establishment
The Viscounty of Nume Eor was first claimed as part of Keoland since at least as far back as -242 CY, when the kingdom's current borders were first established during its early expansionist period. It was previously known as the County of Eor.
Turbulent period
Between 291 CY and the 461 CY, ownership of the County of Eor changed hands several times between Keoland and the Yeomanry. A formal treaty signed in 461 CY established it as part of Keoland, a kingdom which largely ignored the isolated region's interests thereafter.
The conquests of the Sea Princes absorbed the land south of the Hool Marshes. A series of Neheli kings from 488 to 564 CY pursued isolationist policies, with Keoland withdrawing its forces from its border lands south of the Dreadwood. This left those provinces effectively nearly independent from Keoland.
During this period, the county was invaded by lizardfolk of the Hool Marshes, and the remaining population lived at the mercy of bandits.
Recent history
In Patchwall of 587 CY, King Kimbertos Skotti reclaimed the province of Nume Eor by force, granting rulership to a cousin of his from the minor noble House Lizhal. A force of soldiers has been established to defend the land, the lands to the southwest are undergoing resettlement, and trade has been re-established with the Yeomanry. However, raids of lizardfolk and inhabitants of the Little Hills are all too common.
In order to defend the new settlements, Viscount Richart Jorgos has opened a bounty on each lizardman skull. A large number of bounty hunters and sellswords have arrived in the region. [1]
In Spring of 591 CY, Viscount Jorgos established Haven, a sanctuary village for half-orcs of Keoland.[2]

The capital of Nume Eor is Kimberton, located in the southwest of the province, on the banks of the Javan River. It was established only recently, following the recapture of the province by Keoland in 587 CY.
The city of Vendare, located on the southwest edge of the Dreadwood along the River Ardo, is also the home of the palace of the Count of Eor.[3]
