House Zhiq'nah is a group of drow religious fanatics, dominated by holy warriors of Lolth. According to the fourth edition sourcebook Underdark (2010), they replace House Tormtor in the government of Erelhei-Cinlu after the latter house is largely destroyed for turning back to the worship of the Elder Elemental Eye at some point between 597 CY and 692 CY or so.
The Zhiq'nah nobles resent the implication cast upon them that the devotion their "paladins" feel toward Lolth is somehow less pure than that of the priestesses who control the Fane of Lolth. Meanwhile, it's said the priestesses are planning an attack on Zhiq'nah's mistress, Pharloth Waedra.
Headquarters
Zhiq'nah inherits Tormtor's dominance over the Ghetto of Foreigners in the city proper, and also gain estates across the Pitchy Flow.
