The approximate date for the rise and fall of Caerdiralor is given in ''Dominion of the Flannae'' as follows: "Forty centuries before the golden sun of the Aerdi rose in the east and the rampant lion of the Rhola and Neheli crushed Vecna’s undead legions, a twisted civilization rose and fell upon the fertile plains of the Dragonshead Peninsula." These events refer to the founding of the [[Kingdom of Aerdy]] in [[-217 CY]], and the establishment of [[Keoland]] in [[-342 CY]].
