==Description==
The namesake of this kingdom is its Freehold, a castle which has been restyled as [[Fleichshriver]] since coming under [[Iuz]]'s rule.
==History==
Freehold swore fealty to the [[Empire of Iuz]] as it spread into the Bandit Kingdoms during the [[Greyhawk Wars]] in [[583 CY]]. The Freeholders' loyalty was repaid with treachery by Iuz, as they were one of the Bandit Kingdoms whose soldiers suffered at the massacre in the [[Steelbone Meadows]].

Humans have largely abandoned Freehold, with a strong [[Orc]] population replacing them. Fleichshriver is also home to [[hobgoblins]]. Freehold is technically governed by [[Hallorn]], but visits from the regional capital are rare.
