'''Relpool''' is a village in the Southern Coast region of [[Nyrond]].

It is one of the [[Small Ports]] located along the coast of [[Relmor Bay]], being a fishing village with a population (in [[585 CY]]) of around 1,000 people, and has modest docking facilities for the Nyrondese navy. 

In 585 CY it was bullied by royal bailiffs raising taxes following the [[Greyhawk Wars]]. The locals were surly and fearful of the naval militias that visited and demanded food and supplies. Their own militia troops were relatively ineffective. Smuggling was  a way of life and a few people had even turned to piracy. The common unhappiness and erosion of virtue which beset Nyrond was quite visible in this otherwise simple, unexceptional community.<ref>[[The Marklands]], p.74</ref>
