Living Greyhawk Gazetteer p.57 describes "the formation of the Iron League by Irongate, Onnwal, and Idee in late 447 CY", and describes the events leading up to this in detail, such that it the date of 447 CY is unambiguous in the text.

This concurs with the date in in the Folio, p.5 (Chronological Table of Events), p.11 (Irongate) and p.13 (Onnwal). However, the table in the Folio has incorrect date conversion for 447 CY in all other calendars. The 1983 box set corrects this by adjusting the date in the table to 446 CY, but leaves the 447 date in p.27 (Irongate) and p.30 (Onnwal). Both works are clear that the execution of emissaries occurred in 446 CY, with Iron League the following year.

From the Ashes, Atlas p.46 (Irongate, Free City of), describes Irongate as "an eager founding member of the Iron League in 446 CY", and gives a date of 446 CY for the formation of the Iron League in its "A Brief Historical Timeline for the Flanaess". LGG would later re-establish the 447 date as correct.
