The year c.426 CY for the construction of Sheerwatch is based on it having stood for "nearly 160 years" (WGR5 Iuz the Evil p.46), and assuming that WGR5 is dated 585 CY like WGR4. This makes it 159 years old at most (426 CY), but possibly a few years more recent.

The date of c. 426 CY for the second adventuring boom of Greyhawk is very approximate. The Adventure Begins p.8 dates it to the early 400s CY at some point following Zagig's disappearance in 421 CY. While this may suggest that the looting of Castle Greyhawk could have occurred immediately, Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk p.39 asserts that at first, "few dared approach the place, for fear of its being cursed". The exact range is probably somewhere between Zagig's disappearance in 421 CY, and 435 CY (a rough upper bound for "early 400s CY".

Notes

The year c. 426 CY for the construction of Sheerwatch is based on it having stood for "nearly 160 years" (WGR5 Iuz the Evil p.46), and assuming that WGR5 is dated 585 CY like WGR4.
