History

Geography

The Quetzal River is one of two rivers feeding Tchlapac Lake. It flows out of the Kyalo Hills, about 205 miles southwest of the Tchlapac. Due to its many twists and turns the river is about 300 miles long. It runs northwest through the Centeo Jungle and empties into the lake.

It gains speed in the hills and has carved a deep ravine in the lowlands.[1]
