Pentival is an ancient paladin who became a saint of Pelor before being captured by Acererak.[1]
History
Sir Pentival was a rising servant of Pelor during Acererak's time as a living man. The two foes clashed, and in the end Acererak was forced to flee or be slain.[1]
Long did Acererak brood upon his defeat. In the twilight of Pentival's life, the paladin became a saint in Pelor's church, and it seemed he was destined to become a hero-deity as well.
