Spinecastle is a fortress-town in the Bone March.

History

Spinecastle was once the capitol of the Bone March, but it fell to invading monstrous humanoids and goblinoids in 563 CY. It was swarmed from the inside "by secret ways",[1] and the occupants of the city had little chance. The Orcish and humanoid army the warred for years with the previous marquis of Spinecastle and his men. A bloody massacre in 586 CY where the orcish army "laid a trap for the force in the north hills" and Alain IV was brutally slain, along with a near entirety of the force.
