The Nine of Swords is a bladesmith shop in Free City of Greyhawk.

Description

The owner of the Nine of Swords, Carenoc, is known far and wide, not just in the Free City itself, but all across the central Flanaess. He has a reputation as a craftsman of exceptional quality weapons, and typically has at least a dozen masterwork weapons on display for his customers to view.[1]

Cerenoc does not have a right hand. He lost it in a duel with Kelanen, Lord of Swords, the hero-deity patron of swordsmen and swordplay. Despite losing the battle and having a disability, Cerenoc gained great respect for Kelanen when losing the duel and dedicated his life to him. He remains a talented bladesmith and duelist.[1]
