The rock formations of almost glassy blue-veined quartz around the springs tend to be brittle, with the rock is of little use although it is weather resistant and resists erosion. This strange geological formation is believed to have magical origins, and mixed intermittent and erratic dweomers that vary with the phases of the moons ([[Celene]] and [[Luna]]) can be detected here. Crystal Springs are a set of natural springs in the north of the Kingdom of Nyrond.
Description
Crystal Springs is a set of natural springs covering an area of about fifteen square miles or so, where the water flows from a series of small rocky outcrops. They are the source of the Duntide River, and located astride the Stone Road. Water from subterranean aquifers bubbles to the surface here. The rock formations of almost glassy blue-veined quartz around the springs tend to be brittle, with the rock is of little use although it is weather resistant and resists erosion.
