Rumors and legends
On the path of the original road there are yard-long, inch-deep humanoid footprints. Rumor has it that the footprints appeared overnight around 485 CY. Those who live nearby say the tracks are often a portent of dreadful things, having filled with blood on at least two occasions—"just before Chelor's abduction by Ivid's armies, and the night before Chathold was razed to the ground."{{csb|Ivid|
