Koetheim is the capital city of the Canton of Quagfludt, in the nation of Perrenland. It has a population of about 5,000. Koetheim is also the official capital of the Vosser clan.
Koetheim has a history of resistance, first against the Aerdi invaders (97 CY) and then against Iggwilv when she enslaved the nation in the 480s CY.
Being constructed on the western side of the mountains, the town is well-fortified. Due to its location adjacent to the Velverdyva River, it is well connected to major settlements north to Lake Quag, and south to trading cities outside Perrenland.
As a capital city, it is an administrative center populated with lawyers, judges, tax collectors and merchants. It is well-known for its fine housing, libraries, and temples.
