Publishing history
First edition
Fiend Folio was the second monster sourcebook, consisting of monsters developed by Games Workshop from creatures largely submitted for the "Fiend Factory" column in White Dwarf magazine.[1] It was published in 1981 and consisted of 128 pages as part of TSR UK product launch.
Second edition
The Monstrous Compendium Fiend Folio Appendix (ISBN 1-56076-428-7) was published by TSR, Inc. in April 1992, for use with the 2nd edition AD&D rules. It consisted of a cardstock cover, sixty four loose-leaf pages, and four divider inserts. More than sixty monsters compose this Fiend Folio.
