Biography
Always a fan of Tolkien’s The Hobbit, Bridges started playing D&D at age 10 with the adventures The Keep on the Borderlands and Isle of Dread using BECMI rules. Introduced to the World of Greyhawk™ setting in 1983 by a friend who also gifted Bridges his first Dungeon Master's Guide. Once Bridges saw the Darlene map, he never stopped playing Greyhawk, mainly running classics like the G1-3 Giant Series, Tomb of Horrors and White Plume Mountain.
Through high school and college, he began to gain more players and DM more games running Greyhawk in Second and third editions. He largely lurked online until 2004 when he joined the fan site Canonfire!, and became a regular on its forums and Thursday night chat room (GreyTalk). Bridges became noted in the community for writing a series of articles for Canonfire! on the land of Ull.
