Balaour is small town in the lands of Prince Farland of House Darmen, used as a stopover point for goods traveling up river to Jalpa that is heavily suspected by a superstitious populace to be the home of a great spectral black hound [1]
History
Geography
Balaour is a small town on the banks of the Flanmi River, between Jalpa and Torrich. The area is surrounded by a barren moor that is known sink holes disguised in the bog that suck men in to drown. [2]
