Ahmut's Legion is a faction of death cultists and undead in Western Oerik who vied for the Panoply of Stratis in the late 6th Century CY in hopes of a member of the faction becoming the next God of War.

Description

The Legion is primarily a horde of unholy undead terrors, controlled and led by death priests. There is a small number of mortal, living cultists, as well.

The ultimate leader is Ahmut, who was an ancient warlord amongst the Baklien nomadic people[1] in the far West three centuries before the Godwar began.

History

Ahmut attacked the Empire of Ravilla repeatedly in the late 3rd Century CY following the Elven Peace of 552-552(SE). Attacks against Ravilla began in 132 CY with Ahmut leading the horde as it attacked Ravilla's southeastern flank. The elves were overwhelmed by the surprising and unconventional tactics used by Ahmut and the Baklien horde. The Baklien refused to negotiate in in any way, and continued to crush the elven armies for three years, eventually vanquishing four entire armies.[2]
