Pyrannden is the head of the church of Hextor in the Great Kingdom, trying to play political games with the followers of Baalzephon to help Ivid keep power, because he wants to ensure stability in the transition of power and is dubious of other rulers. [1]

The Patriarch General is a physically imposing man, being 6'2" and powerfully built[1]. He has dark brown eyes and close cropped dark brown hair, and looks more than a decade older than he is, thanks to the constant stress of his position.
