Greg Marks, also known as 'Skerrit the Green', is an American game designer who has worked for Wizards of the Coast on third, fourth, and fifth edition material.
Marks is the Creative Lead for the Legends of Greyhawk organized play campaign.[1] He also worked with the RPGA on the Living Greyhawk campaign, and wrote several articles for Dragon magazine, as well as adventures for Dungeon magazine.
Early life and education
Marks grew up Slinger, WI. He went to college at Marquette University where, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the Medical College of Wisconsin.[2]
Career
Organized play has been a large part of Marks' carrer. He became a Global Administrator for the Living Forgotten Realms RPGA campaign. He worked on the Legacy of the Green Regent, Marks of Heroes, and Xen'drick Expeditions campaigns for the RPGA/WotC.
He went on to become an organizer and administrator for the D&D Adventurers League, as Associate Resource Manager, as well as providing some design input for Wizards of the Coast on their products. He has written many adventures and lore articles for the Adventurers League and eventually took over as Content Manager of the Adventurers League from Travis Woodall.
And in early 2025, he became the Creative Lead for the Legends of Greyhawk campaign.[1]

Non-Greyhawk works
Marks has an extensive list of credits of projects he's been on. Only some of them are mentioned below.
Marks did "additional design" (spells and items) for Dragon Magic (2006). Some of his work from “The Silver Hexameric Folio” in Dragon #338 (2005) was included in Complete Scoundrel (2007).
He has published adventures in Dungeon #157 (2008) and #164 (2009). Additionally, he's published nine various "Bazaar of the Bizarre", "Spellcraft", and "Class Acts" articles in Dragon (three each).[3]
In fourth edition, Marks authored Ch.12 in Dungeon Delve (2009), which is about the Emerald Dawn.
