Darlack Ruhick is the commander of Ivid V’s personal Companion Guard in Rauxes after the signing of the Treaty of Greyhawk, and a minor princeling of Naelax. Along with Karoolk, he oversees security for the Palace of the Overking. He also personally commands an elite squad of about a dozen cavalry who specialize in chasing down those attempting to flee Rauxes.[1]

Darlack is 6’ 4” and has black hair. He has a jaundiced complexion from a condition that also causes painful outbreaks of sores on his back and shoulders periodically, which are noted to be like those suffered by the Overking.[1]

Darlack is a cold sadist, whose loyalty to Ivid is almost certainly purely for practical self-preservation reasons. He is clever, but not creative, and skilled as a tactician.
Equipment and possessions
Darlack’s main weapon is a two handed sword +4 which has an addition property of doing twice as much damage against good-aligned creatures. Additionally, he has a composite longbow +2 and sheaf arrows +2, along with one arrow of slaying each for good-aligned priests, mages, warriors, and fey creatures. He wears fiend armor +3 plate armor.
His war horse has horseshoes of zephyr, as do the cavalry horses in his personal squad.
Relationships
