- This article is about the boxed set. For the city itself, see Free City of Greyhawk.
The City of Greyhawk is an AD&D second edition boxed set detailing the Free City of Greyhawk. Written by Douglas Niles and Carl Sargent, the boxed set was released by TSR in 1989.
Contents
The City of Greyhawk includes two 96-page perfect bound books, four poster maps, and 24 separate cardstock pages.
The first book, Gem of the Flanaess, details the city quarters and surrounding Domain. The second book, Folk, Feuds, and Factions details important NPCs and organizations of the Free City.
The four maps depict the following: the Domain; the Free City; the Free City underground); and a three-dimensional view of the Free City.
Twenty-three of the cardstock pages feature self-contained mini-scenarios, most of which take place in and around Greyhawk City. The final card contains a summary of monster statistics for the scenarios.
