Thought to be the largest of the four oceans of Oerth, the Solnor (which means "Birthplace of the Sun" in Old Oeridian) stretches from the Flanaess to Western Oerik (where it is called the Oceanum Titanicum).[1] The ocean has been estimated to be more than a thousand leagues, or about 3,000 miles, across. Its largest current is clockwise, sweeping north across the Flanaess' Solnor coast and moving from the Thillonrian Peninsula to Fireland. The wind moves primarily east to west, but a mild counterclockwise tradewind in the northern Solnor moves against the current.
