Arus Mortoth is the recently self appointed administrator of Rookroost. The Lord Marshall murdered his predecessor, General Pernevi, four years ago (prior to 591 CY, shortly following the Flight of Fiends.
Many of Rookroost’s citizens see his rise to power as a positive thing, as it coincided with the vanishing of demons from Rookroost’s steets, as well as the restructing of the government to favor humans heavily. The Lord Marshall is rumored to have suffered a loss of faith in Iuz, and appointed very few priests to positions of power in the city’s government, straining relationships with the local church, and prompting fears that he might attract direct attention from Dorakaa should he wander too far from the chruch’s teachings.
