The Goblin War was a series of conflicts taking place in the fifth century Oeridian Record (-245 CY to -145 CY),[1] some of which were significant and crucial engagements. During these hostilities, "the Ulek armies forced the goblins and orcs back into the Lortmils."[1]
The outcome of the Goblin War was that the goblinoids were in the Lortmils, and remained so for several centuries. However, this set the stage for the later Hateful Wars (498 to 510 CY) in which the goblinoids were then driven out of the Lortmils and into the Pomarj.
The Goblin War must be differentiated from the Goblin Wars, in about the late fourth century CY ("200 years ago"), in which the mage Castanamir was a hero.[2]
