House Meissel (also spelled Miessel) was a noble merchant house led by Count Urmen Meissel[1] who was perhaps the most adept merchant in the Duchy of Urnst until his death in 596 CY. The house split between Lord Wefreid Meisel, as eldest son attempting to take over, and Lord Uthor Meissel, a devout Pelorite like his father, creating a separate faction within the house until Uthor's death in 598 CY.[2][3] Their house colors are silver and black.[4] House Meissel was, at one time, a client house of House Teranor.[5]
