This template should be added to articles on specific holidays or similar observances.

A brief explanation of the fields used follows:

• Date: All dates should be reckoned via the Greyhawk calendar.
• Type: This field should list the type of holiday (religious, civic, racial, regional, etcetera).
• Observed by: Participants should be identified in this field.
• Significance: A short (no more than a single sentence) explanation of the significance of the holiday should appear in this field.

Two additional optional parameters exist to enable changing of the background and foreground colors in the name part of the infobox, the default is white text on a black background.
