The Caves of Sleep are a cavern network in the Abbor-Alz.
History
After the ancient warlord Carashast was assassinated in an ambush, his sons interred him in these caves.
Features
The Caves of Sleep drain strength from those who enter them. It is theorized that they have a connection to the Plane of Shadows and/or the Negative Energy Plane. Carashast's tomb radiates a sleep effect.
Inhabitants
Shadows, slow shadows, and similar creatures inhabit the caves. The tomb of Carashast is protected by a platinum golem and a barrage of animated magic swords.
