Dark Gate is a township within the realm of the Yeomanry located approximately twelve miles from the city of Westburn.
History
Some twelve years ago, a large cavernous tunnel was located in the foothills of the Crystalmists mountains. This tunnel is said to lead to the Sea of Dust, traversing the entire mountain range. It is thought to be the lost Slerotin's Passage, used by the Suel during the Great Migrations.
This discovery has brought renewed, and mostly unwanted, attention to the Yeomany. To handle the great amount of activity that began to transpire in this region, especially in regards to adventuring and adventurers, the town of Dark Gate was established.
