Madd was a celebrated Suel sorcerer who lived before the Rain of Colorless Fire. Along with his partner, the equally famous sorcerer Ztxar, he created a set of magical maps.
Madd managed to escape the destruction of the Rain of Colorless Fire, taking eight of these maps with him, and settling in a city whose name is no longer remembered. He led a peaceful life, teaching magic and conducting experimentations. When Madd died, he left his works to his apprentice Dane.
