Flameflower is mainly populated by the Elven clan Shandareth and lies approximately 150 miles northeast of the town of Highfolk. Hidden within the Vesve forest, the town derives its name from the bright flameflower bushes that blossom into a vibrant crimson color at the beginning of each New Year. Legends say that as Corellon Larethian recovered from his battle with Gruumsh, he rested within the Vesve, and where he laid the bushes sprang from each drop of blood he spilt upon the land.
The high elves here are simple folk, yet they are true in their faith and devotion to Corellon and a few other Elven deities. So strong is their power that no one may approach within six miles of the village without them being alerted.
