The Battle of Karndred’s Meadows occurred towards the end of the Greyhawk Wars, between Nyrond and the Great Kingdom at Karndred's Meadows. King Archbold III of Nyrond was trying to reclaim as much of Nyrond’s land as possible. Nearly 5,000 of Nyrond’s best soldiers fell in a single day against the Overking's fiend driven armies. Nyrond fought them to a standstill, but the losses were enormous.[1]
