The Crypts of Iron Souls are a Fading Land constructed by the dwarves of Glorvardum in the Glorioles.
A now-lost natural cavern leads to a labyrinthine series of catacombs and tombs, the traditional burial sites for that dwarven people. The dwarves are traditionally entombed with their slain enemies (most commonly the local giants) as an offering to Clangeddin, the dwarven god of battle. Because the crypts are located on a separate plane of existence that only touches the Prime Material Plane, strange physics operate here. Sounds take semi-solid form, screams can melt steel, and the dead rise to continue their ancient battles. Magical weapons and armor constructed by the dwarves abound.
