The Torhoon were a race that dominated Hepmonaland some 8,000 years ago (from 591 CY), using magic and alchemy to enforce their reign. They were able to create demiplanes with their powerful spells.

The torhoon stood some seven feet tall with elongated features and hands over a foot in length. Their sorcerers wore black togas.
