The Greyhawk Wiki is NEW and IMPROVED! We are working toward installing a plethora of new pages, but, as always on a wiki, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please feel free to register, to get the benefit of notifications, messages, and a Watch List. Once you do, then add and edit new pages about your favorite topics including people, places, and things in the World of Greyhawk™. We look forward to all of the contributions, and all of the support that is coming from the community. If you don't know how to edit a wiki, there's even editors who can help! Just click the "improve" link (or the "Edit" link on any section) to write some text, and editors will help by adding formatting and wiki-links and stuff! Feel free to Register, and make edits to the GH Wiki! Registration isn't strictly required because we want to encourage as many editors to contribute as we can, although, we highly encourage it, because it'll allow you to watch topics that are of interest to you, and get notified when someone posts new research or information on your favorite topic! It will also let you edit without having to go through an anti-bot authentication test. But, also we love to include our community members and talk with them to decide things across many of our other social networks! Wanted! Good Greyhawk articles! There's already a list of pages we need!! Take a look at our Wanted Pages or create an article for one of our Unused Images! If there's not a page on your favorite topic, you can create a new page! A Red Link means the page doesn't exist. If you click it, it will take you to a creation page straightaway! Or, if you kow the page you want to create already … First, be sure to check to see if a page or sub-heading exists for the topic using the search bar above! Then, make sure you have the spelling and name correct. There's Writing Guidelines which will help you with templates you can fill out, and information on how to add categories! Finally, create a new page just by visiting the New Article Templates page. Choose the type of article you want to create, and when you follow the link there to the Template. Place the name of the subject in the blank box and click "Create New Article", and it'll fill in all the standard sections and place an infobox template for you to fill out!! You can also help by creating links to our Orphaned Pages, or by expanding our Short Articles and Stubs. Uploading images is another really easy way to help out - see the Special:Upload page! You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, and there are many Categories that are still being improved and refined. There's even some basic writing tips for the GloG which might help point you in the right direction.

Things are constantly being added, and we're reformatting many things - but a Wiki is always a project in process. So, be patient if you can't find what you're looking for (or create it, even). Policies and Guidelines There's always room for improvement and we're always working on making the GLoG GH Wiki better. So, we have some basic Writing Guidelines that may be of help in writing pages. Other than those, you can be confident in following the guidelines presented by Wikipedia and Wikipedia's World of Greyhawk Wikiproject. It's always a good idea to check on Wikipedia to see if there's already information covering a topic you're interested in writing about. Because Mediawiki uses Creative Commons, ity's perfectly fine to copy/paste information - as long as you also copy the citations and references. Talk and more ... Check out the community portal to see what the community is working on, to give feedback or just to say hi. There's also other resources for discussion, like the Greyhawk Online Discord Chat where we talk about all things relating to the World of Greyhawk™ and the Great Library of Greyhawk wiki. Community Section Members of our community look forward to new content from a lot of different blogs, sites, and more, and all the collected knowledge and research they represent. We'd like to give a shout-out to "GreyhawkMike" Bridges and Anna Meyer for their many seasons of the Legends & Lore talk show for spreading so much information about the World of Greyhawk™ and greatly increasing the visibility and fanbase of Greyhawk. • The first three seasons, on The Greyhawk Channel. • Later seasons on the Lord Gosumba channel, with current/recent shows also available on Twitch.tv.. A couple of other sites that we think you should visit for great Greyhawk content: Maldin's Greyhawk which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018; by Denis "Maldin" Tetreault, artist of the City of Greyhawk map! Greyhawkery a great blog about Greyhawk by Mike "Mortellan" Bridges. Greyhawkery recently reached 1,000 posts over 10 years! Special Thanks It is our pleasure to note to our readers and contributors the Encyclopedia Greyhawkania Index (first authored by Jason Zavoda) is included in a table at the end of pages on the GLoG GH Wiki here on GHO! Jason's work continued through '08 and his work was carried on and updated by Eric Johnson, Richard DiIola, Jason "PupickDad" Jaobson, a French fan group, and numerous other fans over the years. Sean Williams wrote the SQL code for the wiki to be able to pull EGI data and put it on the pages. We give thanks to Jason and we're proud of the work so many fans have continued over so many years, and it makes us incredibly proud to have this added functionality on the GLoG wiki! It is also our pleasure to note another contributor here on GHO! The GLoG and GHO heraldry are provided by Bryan "Saracenus" Blumkotz. He's been making the shields and coats-of-arms for GH for more than a decade, and they're included in prestigious places like Anna B. Meyer's maps. The Editors and Admins of Greyhawkonline.com, would like to thank the owners and contributors of Canonfire!, the oldest continuously operating Greyhawk fansite on the 'net, especially and specifically Gary Holian, for creating and maintaining the previous version of the wiki for so many years. Also, for making it available and allowing the use of the Creative Commons license so that it may be used by everyone for their research and edification for years to come! And to Lamashtu (w80) for hosting a mirror of the older wiki for a few years, ensuring it never went entirely missing.
