Lance Hawvermale is a novelist and poet, known for having written Greyhawk articles about the deities, and the Rhennee. He has written Greyhawk articles for [[[Polyhedron]] and Dragon and Dungeon magazines.
Career
Under the pseudonym of Erin O'Rourke, Lance published the thrillers Seeing Pink (2003) and Fugitive Shoes (2006). He has published five more novels under his own name, including The Echo Holders (2019) and The Beekeeper's Bullet (2019). His poetry and fiction have garnered numerous awards. He is an alumnus of AmeriCorps.[1]
Lance holds a master's degree in English from Fort Hayes State University and a PhD in Education from Kansas State University[2] He has worked as a college English professor, an editor, a youth counselor, and as a waiter. [1] Hawvermale became the Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts and associate professor of English at Ranger College in 2010.[2]
