Hexpools is a town in what was formerly the South Province of the Great Kingdom but is now Ahlissa. The town is named for the six hexagonal limestone pools built in a ring around the outside of the city which power its mills and can be used to create high powered streams of water to defend the city be devastating the besieging army.

The city and it's pools were built roughly around 286 CY, with the pools being designed and enchanted by the wizard Farlockend, statues of whom dot the city.
