The Scarlet Brotherhood is a regional sourcebook for the Greyhawk campaign setting.
Contents
The Scarlet Brotherhood details the Scarlet Brotherhood lands, the Tilvanot Peninsula, Hepmonaland, and the Amedio Jungle.
The sourcebook is notable for being the first source on the Olman people since The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan and for detailing many new nations and realms south of the Flanaess for the first time. The Touv people and their pantheon were invented for this book. Several new monsters, including the Bredthrall, and many new plants and flora were created for this book as well.
Back Cover Text
"Threats from the South!
The Scarlet Brotherhood has always been a mystery. Cloaked in shadow, manipulating events across the Flanaess, exploring unknown southern jungles, the Brotherhood influences the world in ways both obvious and subtle. Now lear their early history, hierarchy of power, gods and agenda.
But the Brotherhood is not alone in the south. Explore the people, nations, gods and wonders of the continent known as Hepmonaland and the jungle peninsula of Amedio.
This book includes new character classes for Scarlet Brotherhood monks and assassins, as well as specialty priest for the entire Suel pantheon."
Publication history
The sourcebook was written by Sean K. Reynolds, and published by TSR in 1999 for 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.
