A citation template for Dungeon issues #1-221.

Usage

Place this after any sentence or section which references an issue of Dungeon magazine as its source. Place the citation tag after any punctuation mark rather than before it.

Syntax

The normal usage of this template is done as follows:

{{cite dungeon|issue#|page#|note=}}

The template has the following parameters:

  • Issue number: The first parameter is a magazine issue number. Issues between 1 and 221 are recognized, including WotC's digital issues. This parameter is required.
  • Page number: The second parameter is a number or range of numbers. It's recommended to give the entire page range for an article, if the entire article is relevant to your topic.
  • Article name: The third parameter is an article name.
  • Note: Optional parameter for adding a text note or quote.

For example:

{{cite dungeon|124|48-64|Backdrop: Diamond Lake|note=Erik Mona}}

This produces: [1]

  1. Backdrop: Diamond Lake. Dungeon #124 (Jul 2005), p.48-64 , Erik Mona
