This page contains a listing all of the various creatures of the World of Greyhawk™ which are considered "races", in that they are sentient, not monsters, and most importantly—are possible choices for use as characters in at least one edition.
There is a difficult line in deciding what is a "Race" and what is a "Creature" or "Monster" because these groupings make a Venn Diagram. There's overlap in what are considered by different people to be in each group. This is a purposeful ambiguity, because in the City of Greyhawk, "unusual creatures" exist in a legal "gray area" where ofttimes city guards (and judges) enforce the criminal code regarding whether someone is a "person" or "monster" with varying interpretations[1].
