Llerg is the Suel god of Beasts and Strength. Among the savage Suel tribes of the Amedio Jungle and Hepmonaland, he is known as Hlerg. His symbols are representations of a bear, a snake, or an alligator.
Description
Llerg is depicted as a powerful, bearded, shaggy-haired man dressed in furs and a fighting girdle, or as a huge bear, snake, or alligator. These three animals are sacred to him. He is speculated to be the creator of the giant and dire variety of these species. Llerg weilds a broadsword, though is prone to fighting unarmed utilizing the enhanced strength of his magical girdle
Relationships
Llerg is an ally of Vatun, has a friendly rivalry with Kord, and is an enemy of Telchur. Both Hextor and Heironeous bare enmity towards Llerg. As a general rule, Llerg is indifferent to most other gods, viewing them as too civilized.
Realm
Llerg's realm in Limbo is called Beasthaven.
Dogma
Llerg espouses a belief system largely centered on the emulation of apex predators and that Strength is at the heart of what makes one worthy of respect. Be as fierce as you can, if you lose touch with your inner animal your as good as dead.

Creative origins
Len Lakofka, who created the Suel pantheon for Dragon magazine, originally intended to name this deity Grell. However, as the name clashed with the name of an existing monster, he was renamed Llerg.[citation needed]
