Plot Summary
Patriots of Ulek is an adventure for a party of six to eight characters of first to 3rd levels. The adventure is set in the world of Greyhawk, and the characters are summoned by the Prince of Ulek, who asks that the party investigate why his best troops, from the province of Prinzfeld, have not arrived to help resist the invasion of orcs from the Pomarj.
The adventure is divided into five chapters, The Prince, The Journey North, Prinzfeld, The Graf's Mansion, and The Defense of Prinzfeld. The chapters start from the first summons and request from Prince Olinstaad Corond to investigate the mystery of his missing troops, the trip north through a land beset by rumors and fear, the arrival in the apparently calm and peaceful province of Prinzfeld, investigating the mansion of the province's Graf, and finally a defense of Prinzfeld from an advance force of the invading Orcish army.
The adventurers are given clues and rumors to investigate and finally decide for themselves what is actually happening, and what actions should be taken, if any.
