Tar Hill is a large hill in the on the Island of Asperd in the realm of the Sea Barons. The peak is 500ft tall, and filled with thick tar and bones of large, long extinct creatures, including dinosaurs. There are a number of old mineshafts that dot the area. These lead down to the Cauldron of Night. The area is guarded by 100 men appointed by Basmajian, with his most trusted adjutant in charge.
Geography
Tar Hill is on the Isle of Asperd, in the Sea Baron's territories. The hill is fairly far north, about three-quarters of the way up the island, as far inland as it can be, given the size of the island, and fairlt far from Asperdi or Ironport [1]
