Oakenheart is a town in the Dominion of the Sea Barons. It is the only natural harbor and the largest city by order of magnitude on the island of Oakenisle.

History

Oakenheart used to be known as Crede. The Ladies of Crede, named for the old name of the town, are still a potent force in Oakenheart.

Cityscape

The city is mostly built using wood from the mighty oak trees that give both the city and the larger island their names. It does have stone and a great bronze-coated gate the guards the harbor. The gate is enchanted to protect against both natural corrosion from the ocean's salt content and fire based attacks.

As of 591 CY, the population of Oakenheart stands at 5000 individuals.
