Description
Regensdorf is a village in the Duchy of Urnst comprised of about 450 immigrants and their children from the Shield Lands that traveled south with the Provaines, Regensdorf looks very much like any other farming community. The people work the land and celebrate from time to time, but there is always a suspicion of strangers (especially orcs and half-orcs) and the town is well-patrolled by groups of 5 watchmen. Regensdorf's population consists of morally upright survivors from the Shield Lands who rely on each other. [1]
History
The immigrants flight from the Shield Lands was led by Rogr and Azur Provaine, at much danger and cost to themselves and their family and settled in the lands owned by House Maunvin.[2]
Geography
Regensdorf lies on a trade route about 20 miles east of Leukish on the way towards Thallin, in Leukish County. Regensdorf is an area of mostly fertile farmland near a vast marsh and small woods along the near the mouth of the Nesser River.
People
Government
Law and order in maintained by the Council of Three consisting of Vorsk Provaine, Wells Scorth, and Ales Mangalen. The town militia promptly deals with shady newcomers, often forcing them to leave, with troublemakers fleeing or facing collective action. Peaceful visitors are welcome but charged higher prices at shops. New settlers are rare, and strangers are always noticed.[1]

Economy
The village's economy is primarily based on farming, but it also supports travelers with a sizable inn. Spargus the bowmaker and Angus the smith produce weapons for Lord Ulvar's forces. Some villagers work directly for House Maunvin. Additionally, there is a shop and a small boatyard serving a nearby Ducal Navy outpost on the Nesser River. Lord Urvar, a distant relative of House Kaste, holds some authority over the local Ducal Navy forces.[2]
Currency
Uses the Duchy coinage—platinum sterling duke (pp), gold duke (gp), electrum bright (ep), silver shield (sp), and copper common (cp).[3]
