Description
Stillwater is a village in the Duchy of Urnst. [1]
History
Stillwater, a struggling village on the brink of collapse, underwent a remarkable transformation three years ago after a sudden crisis. When the mayor died of a heart attack upon learning that Duke Karll Lorinar would pass through, the inexperienced accounting clerk, Sharynne, was thrust into leadership. With help from an exiled merchant, Jeannine, and a gnome farmer, Gibbernick, she quickly organized a grand, deceptive welcome for the Duke. Villagers cleaned the streets, repaired buildings, and decorated homes with wildflowers. Sharynne also improvised a “Red Guard” militia and appointed Jeannine and Gibbernick as councilors.
