Bar Strannach is small town on the dirawaen road between Rel Deven and Jalpa, known for housing 100 of Prince Farland's best light cavalry that protect the road, along with a number of troops from Rel Deven with whom they have a decent working relationship.
History
In 172 CY a fomorian giant attacked the town and slew half the occupants. The giant brought with it a book, which is entitled the Lays of Bar Strannach. The book and the spine and skull of said giant are still housed in the local shrine to Baccob. [2]
