House Szabo is a noble merchant house in the Duchy of Urnst, lead by Countess Ralia Szabo.[1][2][3] Their house colors are blue and gold.[2]
They have taken an interest in Veriste because of their ability to survive in such an isolated location. They are hoping to wrest control of the area and potential mines.[4]
House Szabo was in an alliance with House Burlondin where they lend financial aid and credibility to the non-Suel, non-human merchants in exchange for gnome magicks and knowledge.[5] This changed in 595 CY when Duke Karll awarded Storaven to the gnome as punishment for their infighting with House Meissel.[6]
They declared for Strong Harts in 596 CY and support Lord Ellis Lorinar as Regent after Duke Karll's disappearance in 595 CY.[7]
House Szabo as a merchant house was destroyed when all their key leaders were murdered in Leukish in 598 CY.[8]
Resources
Szabo found a good-sized vein of corundum gems and built a powerful Merchant House on that find and currently trades in gems and ores. They have holdings throughout Koken County and The Vale after 596 CY.
