On the Day of Great Signing of the Treaty of Greyhawk, at the end of the Greyhawk Wars, a magical battle erupted in the Grand Hall[1] (also called the Old City Great Hallor just the Great Hall (T21).[2][3] The battle then spilled out into Old City. Otiluke and Tenser of the Circle of Eight were murdered by another Circle membe,Rary of Ket, and could not be resurrected.[1] Rary was seen afterward fleeing with Lord Robilar into the Bright Desert,[4] and it became known that Rary had turned traitor and had slain his old friends.[5]
