Agath of Thrunch is a cleric of Celestian,[1] an author, and renowned scholar about workings of the celestial system of Oerth.

Agath is middle-aged (in 596 CY). He has a stern countenance,[2] and is often cool.[3]
History
Agath was among the adventuring party including Rowena of the Silverbrow, Franz, Lord Torkeep, Reynard Yargrove, Rakehell Chert, and Warnes Starcoat who rescued the Crook of Rao from the Isle of the Ape.
He was the head of the temple of Celestian in the village of Thrunch, which is located in the foothills of the Lortmil Mountains in the Principality of Ulek.[4]
Agath moves to Magepoint at some prior to 596 CY and runs the library-temple there.[3]
Abilities
Agath is superhumanly wise, and his other attributes are all well above average. He is quick and likable. Str: 16, Int 16, Wis 19, Dex 18, Cha 17[1]
Possessions
As a high-level cleric, Agath has access to many magic items, and carries/wears: boots of water walking (as ring), gauntlets of ogre power, girdle of free action (as ring), mantle of Celestian, ring of fire resistance, ring of spell storing, scarab of protection, necklace of prayer beads.[4]
